Product care advice for our boots, leather products and clothes.

Boots
rengringHeavy mud and dirt can be removed initially under the tap with water and a brush. Make sure that manure and other farmyard substances are well rinsed off immediately . The same applies for seawater and/or salt.

All leather needs care. Make sure the leather is cleaned and dried properly before using any conditioner. The mahogany leather needs to be treated with Dubarry Leather Cream tube or a colourless leather conditioner. Special attention should be paid to the flex point on the toe.

Shirts and vests
Machine wash at 40°C. Do not tumble dry. Button up the garment, close all zips and Velcro before washing.

Woollen sweaters and hunting socks
Machine wash at 30°C. Stretch after washing. For extra care of your jumpers and socks we recommend washing by hand.

Trousers
Machine wash at 40°C. Use care products when washing such as Nikwax Tech Wash and waterproofing agent such as Nikwax Cotton Proof for best results.

Leather
Breeks in washable leather
Machine wash at 30 degrees-wool. Stretch after washing. Be sure to stretch the breeks both in length and width. To keep the pant soft you can, after the trousers dry, tumble in the cold air in 20 minutes. Brush the breeks with a soft brush in enrichment from top to bottom. Use leather spray to impregnate the skin. Don´t use silicone-based spray.

Leather hunting trousers unisex and Leather Jeans
Use pants before you adjust the leg length. A single stitch on the inside of the leg makes it easy to adjust to the desired length. Let the edge of the trousers to be about 10 cm and glue with fabric adhesive. Save leftover skins for possible mending. You can easily clean leather products with a damp cloth and leather soap. Use leather spray to impregnate the skin. Don´t use silicone-based spray.
